Interesting how history seems to fade. Webs started when we were all in high school; were five including a piano; practicing in Amos Tindell’s living room. First gig was at Porter’s Fairyland; then the Rose Festival in Thomasville, GA. Piano player dropped out and rhythm guitar player moved. John Rainey had been teaching Goldsborough to play guitar and he joined (shortened his name). Three went to Auburn; I was year behind; but went there to play; and first sessions at Heart Records.
