Kevin Peterson gave me a few guitar lessons before he realized I had no interest in Phrygian scales and gave up. I wanted to be able to play like the black men that the white boys were copying. Anyway, seems like a girl named Lisa Pate use to be around at that time, so maybe that's her in the photo. What I thought was ironic is that I play in a band with KENT Peterson (not in Locust Fork, but in Crooked Road). Ok, I thought they were related, but years ago Kent told me they were not.

Can somebody tell me when Jim Coleman passed away and how? We were close buds back in the day, but you know, life got in the way. I met him thru his girlfriend (it was legit OK?, she was just a friend), and we just clicked. I admired his playing.
