Peter Carr, REST IN PEACE

"The very first time that I heard of Pete, was from someone in Daytona Beach, commenting about how he blew Duane off the stage, one night at The Pier. I was managing Osmosis (later known as Hydra), and they were playing for an extended time at The Pier. This guy, who was impressed with Spencer Kirkpatrick, started talking about this great guitar duel that had taken place at The Pier. I actually hadn't heard of Duane either, at that time. A couple of months later, ABB played in Piedmont Park, and the rest is history. Although I became friends with Duane, I never did get to see and hear Pete play. A regret that I will carry to my grave." ~ Don Rice
